• The tap-changer switch is designed for use in distribution transformers to tap the winding terminals to get different voltage values.
• The switch body, rotor, and shaft are made of high-strength, glass-filled thermoplastic material.
• The operating shaft is sealed against leakage by two high-temperature resistant O-Rings.
• The tap-changer switch is a no-excitation switch and should only be operated in no-load conditions.
• The switch has 6 contacts and five positions, allowing transformer voltage changes: -5%, -2.5%, 0, 2.5%, 5%.
